The reading journal assignment

Hi everyone, 

Good job on making entries for this week! Most of you had three or more journals, which is very cool. 

I would like to remind you, if you had not posted anything by the deadline, which is 8 pm every Saturday, or you had only posted partially (fewer than 3 entries), you will lose 2 points each time until all the points for this assignment are gone. 

• BUT!!!! Since this is the first week, and I said it in class that we are going to try this first to see how it goes, for this week(week 2) only, you will not be taken out any points if you had done at least one or two journals.  

          For those who did not post anything at all, 1 point is taken from your grade for the reading journal. 

For those who did their journals and made comments on time, you will receive extra credit for 2 points on your reading journal.

• Also, for the vocab journal, if you do not send it to me on time by email, you will lose 2 points each time until the total 10 points are gone. 

But again, we will start this from next week (week 3), so who ever sent it to me on time will receive extra credits for 2 points on your vocab journal as well. 

Please notice that it is only because this is the first time/week that we have started doing this do I make exceptions for you.  Starting from next week you are expected to follow all the guidelines of the assignments for this class. 

Make sure you talk to me if you don't understand, otherwise no excuses will be accepted.  Let the communication go on between us! :)
