Tomorrow night , November 3rd, is the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) night at UHM campus center ball room. Although not all of you are in business related field, it is still a meaningful event to go to. It might also be an interesting topic to write about for your reading journal if you do read and learn something from the event.

APEC Brief....
APEC summit started in 1989 and has been a significant contribute in the areas of international trade and investment, and business facilitation. The 21 members of APEC, such as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and ,will be in Honolulu in November for a week long (November 6-13). Discussing topics including three specifically profound areas:
- 1. Strengthening regional economic integration and expanding trade
- 2. Promoting green growth
- 3. Expanding regulatory cooperation and advancing regulatory convergence
